Abstract:

PURPOSE:To obtain the title polymer, having excellent shape holding properties in melting and useful as a processing and molding material and tire cord, by using a salt consisting of a diamine and salt and dicarboxylic acid halide in solution polycondensation of a polyamide compound using a basic solvent. CONSTITUTION:A salt consisting of a diamine (e.g. hexamethylenediamine) and an acid (e.g. formic acid) and a dicarboxylic acid halide (e.g. adipic acid dihalide) are used in solution polycondensation of a polyamide compound using a basic solvent (e.g. N-methyl-2-pyrrolidone).
