To provide a production process of a belt with protrusions and the belt with protrusions produced using the process, wherein exfoliation of the protrusions from the belt and early damaging are prevented by using a resin of low friction coefficient as the protrusion to improve wear resistance of the protrusion.
In the production process of the belt with protrusion and the belt with protrusion using the process, the process consists of: applying one of the adhesive selected from a cyanoacrylate adhesive, a polychloroprene rubber adhesive or an epoxy resin adhesive, to a back face of a toothed belt body 1 comprising a thermosetting resin molding; injection molding a wear resistant thermoplastic resin on the thermosetting resin molding on which the adhesive is applied, thereby integrally adhering and molding the thermosetting resin molding and the thermoplastic resin molding to form protrusions 5, 7 comprising the thermoplastic resin molding.
