In the production process of mold for producing the antiglare film and the production process of the antiglare film using the mold obtained; the production process of mold for producing the antiglare film has a plating step to apply a plating 3 to a surface 2 of a base material 1 for the mold, a mirror plane 4 working step to form a mirror plane of 0.1 μm or below in surface roughness by cutting and/or polishing an alloy plating applied on the surface of base material for the mold and a micro depression forming step to form a plurality of micro depressions 5 by a cutting work on the mirror plane formed; provided that the cutting work of the plurality of micro depressions in the micro depression forming step is performed by a cutting tool and fulfills specific conditions when setting, the average proximal distance between the micro depressions to a (μm) and the cutting depth to d (μm), for the micro depressions cut.
