Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a process for production of reflectors capable of easily producing many pieces of the reflectors having rugged surfaces of the same shape at a time by using large-area transparent substrates and of easily and simply making mass production of the reflectors free of variations in reflection characteristics and an application for production.
SOLUTION: A photosensitive resin is applied on the transparent substrate 13 to form the photosensitive resin layer 14 of a softened state. The rugged mold surface 9a of a mold 9 movable in a vertical direction is pressed to the photosensitive resin layer 14 and in this state the embossed photosensitive resin parts 16 are irradiated with UV rays from the lower side of the transparent substrate 13, by which the photosensitive resin parts 16 are precured. The movable mold is peeled from the precured photosensitive resin parts 16 and further the prescribed parts of the non-embossed photosensitive resin layer are subjected to the repetition of the precuring stage described above, by which the precured photosensitive resin parts 17, 18 are formed. The non-precured parts of the photosensitive resin layer 14 are etched away and the precured resin parts 16, 17, 18 are subjected to normal curing by heating. Metallic reflection films are then deposited on the respective surfaces of the normally cured photosensitive resin parts 16, 17, 18.
