Abstract:
To restrict the generation of cracks at the tip part of flange after forming of rim shaping.
A flat platelike rim blank 4 is passed through a pair of rolls 1, 2, rolled and reduced in thickness in a stage of being in a flat plate, that is, in the stage after rolling and slitting to the stage of uncoiling and cutting in a regulated dimension. Or, by drawing the flat platelike rim blank 4 with a drawing die, the requiring place is reduced in thickness.
