Abstract:
To provide a method capable of producing a rubber product having high reinforcing effects.
A cross-linked rubber in which an inorganic filler is dispersed is prepared. The cross-linked rubber is immersed in a solution of a reinforcing agent containing an alkoxysilane compound and swollen. The swollen cross- linked rubber is immersed in catalytic water to form a polycondensate of a hydrolyzate of the alkoxysilane compound. Preferably the inorganic filler is at least one selected from the group consisting of silica, calcium carbonate, magnesium hydroxide and aluminum hydroxide.
