Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain a separating agent having no tailing of an objective compound, excellent in separating properties, useful as a separating agent for optical resolution of racemic modification by cleaning a separating agent comprising a polysaccharide derivative derived from a polysaccharide containing a specific amount of ions with a solvent containing an amine.
CONSTITUTION: A separating agent comprising a polysaccharide derivative derived from a polysaccharide having ≤3ppm content of an ion such as chlorine, nitrate, phosphate, sulfate, sodium, ammonium, potassium, calcium, magnesium ions and the like is cleaned with a solvent containing an amine such as ammonia, dimethylamine, diethylamine, triethylamine, etc., (e.g. hexane or methanol solvent mixed with 0.01-5vol.% of the amine) to give the objective separating agent.
