The objective production process for a silicone-containing polymer is characterized by the polymerization of following monomers (A) to (C) in the presence of an oxetane: (A) a vinyl monomer bearing a 3-7-membered cyclic ether group; (B) a silicone monomer bearing a vinyl group on the molecular chain terminal; and (C) vinyl monomers other than (A) and (B).
