Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide a method for producing a sulfuric ester salt actualizing a high production efficiency at a low cost, having excellent uniformity and reaction ratio.
CONSTITUTION: In producing a sulfuric ester salt by reacting sulfamic acid with a substance to be sulfated, sulfamic acid and the substance to be sulfated are thrown in a premixer 1 and premixed. The mixture is fed to a wet grinder 2 and ground in a wet state. The maximum particle diameter of sulfamic acid is ≤600μm, especially 100-300μm. The ground material is thrown in a reactor 3 and sulfamic acid is reacted with the substance to be sulfated at 70-150°C, especially 100-120°C. The blending ratio of sulfamic acid to the substance to be sulfated is in the range of 1/99-75/25, especially 40/60-65/35. Since the grinding is carried out in a wet state, sulfamic acid particles do not coagulate and are uniformly dispersed even after grinding. Consequently, the reaction is uniformly advanced and a high reaction ratio is obtained in a short time. Dust will not occur and the production can be carried out in a favorable operation condition.
