PURPOSE: To produce a superior superconductor having a prescribed shape in a very short time by blowing a powdery mixture as stock for a superconductor into a high energy jet at high temp. to melt the mixture, colliding the mixture against a base material and fusing it on the base material.

CONSTITUTION: A chamber 1 is evacuated or filled with atmospheric gas, working gas is fed from the connection holes 8W10 of a gas tunnel type generator 2 and electric discharge is caused among electrodes 11W14 to generate a high energy jet at high temp. Powder or a powdery mixture as stock enabling superconduction is blown into the high energy jet from a feed hole 7 and softened or melted during passing through the jet at high temp. The softened or melted body fuses and fixes uniformly on a base material 3 positioned with a positioner 4 in a prescribed shape. Thus, a high quality superconductor is obtd. in a short time.
