Abstract:
PURPOSE: To provide the producing method of O-5,6,7,8-tetrahydro-2-naphthyl 6-methoxy-2-pyridyl(methyl)thiocarbamate, having reduced viscosity of reaction solution, capable of being carried out without problems even on a scale of large amount.
CONSTITUTION: O-5,6,7,8-Tetrahydro-2-naphthyl chlorothioformate is fed to 2- methoxy-6-methylaminopyridine and 10-50 times, based on the amount of 2- methoxy-6-methlylaminopyridine of an isopropanol-water mixed solvent in the presence of a dehydrogenating agent for ≥ three hours.
