Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To increase the satisfaction performance of inner peripheral part of cylindrical part and to improve the dimensional precision of a ball rolling grooves by pushing the cylindrical part of an outer ring into a die hole from the opening part side to execute an ironing.
SOLUTION: The outer ring 1 as a pre-blank after executing Bonderite treatment is pushed into the die hole 8 from the opening part 9 side of the cylindrical part 1b contrary to the method of drawing it into the die hole 8 in the reverse direction in the conventional method. By this method, since the material flow from the base end part 10 side of the cylindrical part to the opening part 9 side changes to the material flow from the opening part 9 side to the base end part 10 side in the reverse direction, the wall thickness is not reduced between the ball rolling grooves 2. Further, since the material flow of increasing the wall thickness of the cylindrical part 1b is developed on the whole, the inner peripheral surface of the cylindrical part 1b is more and more press-fitted to a segment 4 and the dimensional precision of the ball rolling grooves 2 is improved.
