Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a programmable controller with which the program of common contents can be prepared in a short time without depending on difference in the experience of a worker.
SOLUTION: The picture patterns of various parts consisting of a flow sheet describing the operations of a plant and control conditions corresponding to these picture patterns are paired and registered for each part, the registered picture patterns of respective parts are suitably selected and arranged while watching the picture of a CRT 22 of a programming tool 21 and further, an operation for connecting these picture elements is performed so that an instruction word is completed by mutually connecting the control conditions corresponding to the respective picture patterns. When the picture patterns are arranged and connected until the plant expressed by the flow sheet is completed, a control program directly linked with the specification of that plant control is completed.
