Abstract:
PURPOSE:To switch off the power supplies of both a servo system and a machine tool in a program production mode and to avoid a malfunction of the machine tool, by ignoring the signals having no relations with the program production such as an alarm of the numerical control relation when an NC program is produced. CONSTITUTION:A switch is set on an NC operation panel 106 of an NC device having a programming function to select a numerical control mode or an editing mode (programming mode). When this switch is set in the editing mode, a processor 101 displays properly the pictures needed for programming to a graphic display device 107. Then a program is produced by means of the data given from a keyboard device 108 and stored in a nonvolatile memory 104. In this program production mode the processor 101 ignores the signals related to the numerical control sent from a machine tool 113 via a heavy current circuit 112. This prevents a malfunction of machine tool 113.
