Abstract:
To provide a projection material for blasting, and a blasting method capable of improving surface cleaning efficiency, etc., without increasing projection material consumption rate almost at all in blasting.
This projection material is usable in cleaning a cast surface and roughing a surface of steel material by blasting. The projection material comprises mix of standard grain material (main grain material) of a recommended grain size applicable to the purpose of blasting (except for peening), and grain material (auxiliary grain material) of one or more sorted sizes smaller than the recommended grain size, and a limit size or more having surface cleaning effect.
