Abstract:

PURPOSE: To obtain such a printed wiring board inspection jig that the tracers of its probes can be reduced in diameter and can be prevented from being damaged and the probes can be easily connected to an inspection device, and then, its probes and contact pins can be reutilized.
CONSTITUTION: The title jig is composed of contact pins 3 mounted on a guide plate 8 and probes 1 inserted into a pin board 88. Tracers 2 which are mounted on the probes 1 in a state where the tracers 2 can flexibly advance and retreat are brought into contact with the head sections of the contact pins 3. A terminal board 4 is provided above the pin board 88 and jack terminals 41 connected with an inspection device 18 are arranged on the board 4. A wiring circuit 71 is inspected for electrical continuity while plugs 153 connected to the lead wires 15 of the probes 1 are inserted into the jack terminals 41 and fronts ends of the contact pins 3 are brought into contact with the circuit 71. The outside diameter of the plugs 153 is made smaller than the outside diameter of the probes 1.
