Abstract:
To provide a projector easy in miniaturization by suppressing the length of an integrator rod from being lengthened even when the solid glass rod of an inner face entire reflection type having excellent light utilization efficiency for being entirely reflected as the integrator rod.
The projector comprises a lighting system 100A provided with a light source device 110 and an integrator rod 120A, a relay optical system 140, the micro mirror modulator 400, and a projection optical system 600. The integrator rod 120A comprises an inner face entire reflected solid glass rod. The projector arranges a convex lens 122A on the light incident face side of the integrator rod 120A.
