Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a projector capable of appropriately correcting color balance.SOLUTION: A projector 1A comprises: a light source device 41; an optical modulator 452; a projection optical device 46; a detector 5A detecting luminance of first color light separated from light emitted from the light source device 41; and a controller controlling at least any of the light source device 41 and the optical modulator 452 according to detection results by the detector 5A and adjusting color balance of an image projected by the projection optical device 46. The detector 5A includes: filters 431 and 432 separating light of a plurality of wavelength ranges being set before hand and different from one another out of the first color light made incident; and sensor devices 51 and 53 detecting individual ones of luminance of the light of the plurality of wavelength ranges separated by the filters 431 and 432.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
