Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To highly accurately estimate propagation path characteristics by checking a CRC error not for each frame but for each cell or packet and performing transmission control based on the checked result.
SOLUTION: Concerning received data at a mobile station, the CRC error is checked by a CRC check part 112. When the CRC error are detected in the continuous ATM cells of a reception channel closest to the transmission channel of a user channel, the degradation of a propagation path state is detected by a propagation path degradation detecting part 113, a transmission part 102 is controlled by a transmission control part 114, and data are temporarily stored in a memory and delayed. Mobile station side user data are received by an up channel 103 and a reception part 104, the CRC error is checked by a CRC error check part 105, the degradation of the conditions of the propagation path is judged, a transmission part 109 is controlled by the transmission control part 114, and data transmission is temporarily delayed. This transmission control prevents the unnecessary retransmission of data affected by fading by temporarily stopping transmission and delaying data excepting for the data of severe delay such as sounds.
