Title:
PROPELLER FAN
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3801162
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a propeller fan having simple construction for effectively reducing swirl at the blade ends and greatly reducing blast noises resulting from the swirl at the blade ends.
SOLUTION: The propeller fan comprises a hub 1 and a plurality of blades 2 radially formed on the outer periphery side of the hub 1. An outer periphery portion of each of the plurality of blades 2 has a bent portion 3 bent to the side of a negative pressure face in a range from the side of a front edge 2a to the side of a rear edge 2b. The height of an outer peripheral end 3a of the bent portion 3 from the blade face is the maximum at a position (a point Q) on the side of the front edge 2a beyond a middle (a point P3) of a blade chord length, and an angle (on the side of the negative pressure face) formed between the bent portion 3 and the blade face is 90° or greater.
