NEW MATERIAL: A compd. represented by formula I (wherein any two of K-M are N and other one of them is CE, X and Y are each H, a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, a 3-6C cycloalkyl or a 2-4C alkenyl, A, B, E, G and U are each H, a halogen, a 1-4C alkyl, a 1-4C alkoxy or CN, and an aliphatic group portion and a phenyl group portion can have at least one substituent such as a halogen.
EXAMPLE: (E)-Methyl 2-[2-(6-(2-chloropyrid-3-yloxy)pyrimidin-4-yloxy)phenyl]-3- methoxypropenoate.
USE: A sterilizing agent.
PROCESS: A compd. represented by formula II (wherein Z2 is an elimination group and W is a group represented by formula III or a group converted thereto) and a compd. represented by formula IV (T1 is H or a metal atom) are reacted in the presence of a base when T1 is H to obtain the compd. represented by formula I.
