Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform evaluation of industrial oil, especially deterioration determination of the industrial oil at an early stage and simply, inexpensively, rapidly, surely only by addition of water without addition of chemical substance such as a reagent.SOLUTION: Water into which acidic substance generated by deterioration of hydraulic oil is dissolved is mixed with the hydraulic oil, and the mixed liquid is divided into a water layer 31 and an oil layer 32 by a centrifugal force generated using centrifugal separation means to evaluate pH of hydrophilic acidic substance, that is, the water layer 31 into which the acidic substance generated by deterioration caused by hydrolysis is dissolved. Deterioration of the hydraulic oil is determined by grasping concentration of the acidic substance existing in the hydraulic oil.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 3
