To provide a prosthetic leg which allows a user to match a prosthetic foot part with clothes, to change the prosthetic foot part depending on a walking place, walking conditions, and exercise conditions, and to attach and detach the prosthetic foot part to and from a prosthetic lower thigh part easily without using a special tool.
The prosthetic leg is provided with an attachable and detachable joint 4 to connect the prosthetic lower thigh part 1 and the prosthetic foot part 2 at a prosthetic ankle part 3 on the prosthetic ankle part 3. the joint 4 comprises a pair of main bodies 4a, 4b of the connection with the same structure. The proximal end of the main body 4a of the connection is connected to the prosthetic lower thigh part 1, and the proximal end of the other main body 4b of the connection is connected to the prosthetic foot part 2. A plurality of mating protrusions, aligned in the circumferential direction of the front end surfaces of the pair of the main bodies 4a, 4b and protruding in the axial direction, and a plurality of dented parts for mating formed between the mating protrusions are provided on the front end surfaces of the main bodies 4a, 4b. The mating protrusions and the dented parts for mating on a main body 4a, 4b mate with them on the other main body mutually in the axial direction. The mating protrusion has a hooking part for catching which regulates movements in the axial direction by catching on the mating protrusion on the other main body of the joint in the circumferential direction and catches the pair of the main bodies of the joint in the axial direction.
