Abstract:
To provide a protection device of a compressor which is operated accurately and speedily at reduced cost.
The protection device of the compressor 1 is an overload relay 15 for protecting the compressor 1 by detecting abnormal overheat and abnormal currents in the compressor 1. As the overload relay 15 is mounted on a delivery pipe 5 where the temperature of the compressor 1 on the delivery side is most easily sensed, the overload relay 15 is operated accurately and speedily and the capability of the compressor 1 to follow the abnormal overheat is improved.
