To provide a protective structure of a read/write medium device which dynamically protects the operation of the read/write medium device, and prevents the intervention (vibration, fall, etc.) of external force from inducing the data loss and breakage of the read/write medium device, and a method for the same.

The protective structure includes a detection unit, a first arithmetic unit, a read/write medium unit, a switch unit, a coulomb control unit, a second arithmetic unit, and a central processing unit. The detection unit detects the intervention of the external force during the operation of the read/write medium device. When the external force exceeds a specified value, the detection unit forcibly cuts off the power source of the read/write medium device by this structure, thereby disabling to operate the device, increasing the stress to the maximum and improving earthquake resistance and impact resistance.
