Abstract:
To provide a protective tube which can be easily attached to a linear body such as a cable and has good workability.SOLUTION: A protective tube 1 is formed by disposing a pair of halved tube bodies 2, 2 such that their concave surface sides are opposite each other. Each halved tube body 2 includes: a straight pipe part 3 formed in a halved cylindrical shape; and an engaging part 6 provided at a front end of the straight pipe part 3. A projection piece 61 of the engaging part 6 projects in an opposite direction D oriented toward the paired halved tube body 2, and is curved at a predetermined curvature to a front side as it proceeds toward its tip end. A portion of a concave part 62 of the engaging part 6 that makes contact with the projection piece 61 is curved at the same curvature as the projection piece 61. The tip end of the projection piece 61 is fitted into the concave part 62 and the halved tube bodies 2 and 2 are rotated so that the straight pipe parts 3 approach each other, thus engaging the projection piece 61 with the concave part 62. Such a protective tube 1 can be easily attached to a cable C and has good workability because the halved tube bodies 2, 2 can be engaged with each other by a simple rotation operation.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
