Title:
PROTECTOR FOR WIRING AND PIPING
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2002247736
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide a protector for wiring and piping capable of being used when a constructing member such as a furring strip or a stud through which a wire or a pipe penetrates is constituted of metal, such as section steel.

This protector for wiring and piping is provided with an opening section 4 on a part thereof in the circumferential direction, so as to be openable over the whole length in the axial direction, and comprises a protecting tube body 2 fitted onto the outside of the wire or the pipe 21 and a plurality of sawtooth nonreturn protrusions 3 provided on the outer surface of the protecting tube body 2 in a row in the axial direction at prescribed pitches. When the protecting tube body 2 is inserted into a drilled hole 22 of the furring strip or the stud while the radius of the protecting tube body 2 is reduced, a hole edge 22a of the drilled hole 22 is engaged between adjacent nonreturn protrusions 3, 3, thereby preventing the protector 1 for wiring and piping from coming off from the drilled hole 22.
