To construct a bus information providing system capable of obtaining bus traveling information form a place other than a bus stop and minimizing a waiting time at the bus stop.

Location information of a bus being traveled at present, bus traveling route information and arranged time table information are stored in a bus information database which is stored in an information processor. A user inputs his desire by a portable terminal and a control part which receives the input refers to information which are stored in the bus information database and, then provides an arithmetic result on a web site such as bus position information concerning the bus stop for boarding and the prediction value of a desired time from the bus stop for getting-on till the bus stop for getting-off, etc., and outputs it to the portable terminal.
