Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated pull strength testing equipment that absorbs a counterforce and at the same time transfer a rotary force at the connection part between a rotary member and a pull shaft.
SOLUTION: A pull strength testing equipment measures a pull strength from a tensile force by adding the tensile force in a direction for pulling a screw member 17 from a steel plate 19 to the steel plate 19 where the screw member 17 is mounted. The pull strength testing equipment is provided with a strain gauge 6c for measuring a tensile force being generated at a pull shaft 9, a motor 20 for rotating a rotary shaft 3, a storage means for storing the setting value of the tensile force, a comparison means for comparing a value that is measured by the strain gauge 6c with a setting value, and a control means for performing control so that the motor 20 is stopped when a result that is obtained by the comparison means is larger in the setting value than in the measurement value, thus performing measurement within the measurement limit of the testing equipment and hence preventing the testing equipment from being damaged since the testing equipment may be damaged if a pull limit is exceeded.
