Abstract:
To provide a pulley supporting structure for extending the life of a bearing, even when subjected to non-steady loads due to external influences.
In the pulley supporting structure, driving and driven side pulleys 11, 14 between which a metal belt 17 is bridged and which have variable-width pulley grooves, respectively, are supported by the plurality of bearings 21, 22, 23, 24. The plurality of bearings 21, 22, 23, 24 each have a maximum contact bearing pressure of 2500 MPa or lower in use.
