Abstract:
To provide a pulley for belt type continuous speed variation device capable of suppressing wearing off of a belt while securing power transmission properties even when a belt for transmission is made to travel for a long time under high-load and high-speed travel conditions, and a belt type continuous speed variation device.SOLUTION: A pulley 1 for belt type continuous speed variation device consists of a fixed pulley piece 2 which is axially fixed and a movable pulley piece 3 which is made axially movable, and is made continuously variable in width W of a V-shaped pulley groove formed of the fixed pulley piece 2 and movable pulley piece 3 and also used to wind a belt 30 for transmission in the pulley groove. An inclined groove face 2a and an inclined groove face 3a of the opposed fixed pulley piece 2 and movable pulley piece 3 of the pulley groove have tapered faces formed. 0.30 μm≤Ra1≤0.80 μm and Ra1≤Ra2 hold for arithmetic average roughness Ra1 of circumferential surface roughness of the inclined groove faces 2a, 3a, and arithmetic average roughness Ra2 of radial surface roughness of the inclined groove faces 2a, 3a.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
