Title:
PULSE ARC WELDING OUTPUT CONTROL METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2016132003
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stabilize a welding state by suppressing the sudden lengthening phenomenon of an arc length generated at the time of an arc start in pulse arc welding.SOLUTION: Provided is a pulse arc welding output control method for supplying a welding current Iw in which the peak current Ipc of a peak period Tp and the base current Ibc of a base period Tb form one pulse period. During a correction period Tk where the welding voltage Vw of the peak period Tp is equal to or higher than a reference voltage value Vth, the peak current Ipc is reduced by a reduction value, and the base current Ibc is increased by an increase value. The reduction value is set based on the unit length resistance value of a welding wire. Thus, since peak current Ipc is reduced, the occurrence of the sudden lengthening phenomenon of an arc length can be suppressed by suppressing the abnormal heating of the welding wire.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
