Title:
PULSE WIDTH CONTROL CIRCUIT AND PULSE WIDTH MEASURING CIRCUIT
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3419033
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To extend the lower limit of the time interval for enabling paired pulse measurement to, for example, more than 10 nano-seconds.
CONSTITUTION: A paired pulse is inputted to a first circuit 1 and the first circuit 1 outputs a first pulse having a pulse width corresponding to the time interval of the paired pulse. A second circuit 2 detects the fall of the first pulse and outputs a first one shot pulse. A third circuit 3 outputs a second pulse in delay time when first one shot pulse is defined as a reference. A fourth circuit 4 generates the output corresponding to a first state when the first pulse is imparted to an input terminal S and generates a second state output which is in the inversion relation when a second pulse is inputted in a second input terminal R. A fifth circuit 5 detects the rise the first state and outputs a third one shot pulse, and detects the fall to the second state and outputs a fourth one shot pulse.
