Abstract:
To obtain a pulse laser welding method for plated steel sheets capable of suppressing the occurrence of a weld defect, appearance defect and spatter splashing and embodying sufficiently weld strength and good weld beads in the lap welding of the plated steel sheets.
Molten pools are continuously held by setting the pulse duty among irradiation conditions of pulse laser at a range of 20 to 30% and the pulse repeating frequency at ≥50Hz, respectively, in the pulse laser welding method for the plated steel sheets for executing lap welding by irradiating ≥2 sheets of the plated steel sheets with the pulse lasers in the superposed state.
