Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pump unit having a power generation function capable of enhancing power generation efficiency compared to the conventional art without reducing pump efficiency.SOLUTION: A pump unit 10 having a power generation function comprises: a casing including a first water flow port 22 and a second water flow port 24; an impeller device 20 having an impeller which is rotatable inside the casing in normal/reverse bi-directions; a power generator 30 which can be connected to the impeller and can generate power by torque of the impeller; and a motor 40 which can be connected to the impeller and can impart the torque to the impeller. In the pump unit 10, when the impeller is rotated in a normal direction by a water flow flowing toward the second water flow port 24 from the first water flow port 22, the power generator 30 generates the power by the torque of the impeller, and when the impeller is rotated in a reverse direction by the motor 40, the water flow flowing toward the first water flow port 22 from the second water flow port 24 is formed by the torque of the impeller.
