PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gas cock to which a gas purge mechanism is imparted while dimensions of a purge mechanism part are reduced as much as possible and a size of a gas cock is not so increased relative to existing gas cocks.SOLUTION: A purge mechanism 10 includes: a hollow port body 11 having a valve seat 11w therein; a lid body 19 for blocking the port 11y; a valve element 15 disposed in the port body 11; and a coil spring 13 urging the valve element toward the valve seat 11w.
