Abstract:
PURPOSE: To increase or decrease the ON interval of a second PWM signal regardless of the ON interval of a first PWM signal by correcting a data being added to the ON interval data of second PWM signal depending on the varying conditions of the ON interval of first PWM signal.
CONSTITUTION: The PWM signal generator generates a first PWM signal 1 increasing/decreasing with a predetermined minimum unit and a second PWM signal 2 synchronized with the first PWM signal in order to control a switching power supply. The PWM signal generator comprises means for correcting a data being added to the ON interval data of the second PWM signal 2 depending on the varying conditions of the ON interval data of the first PWM signal 1 such that the ON interval data of the second PWM signal 2 can be increased/decreased independently from the ON interval data of the first PWM signal with respect to feedback information. With such arrangement, the ON interval of the second PWM signal 2 can be increased/decreased independently from the ON interval of the first PWM signal.
