Abstract:

To provide a synthetic intermediate of N-(triazoloazinyl)arylsulfonamide compound useful as a herbicide.

A pyridine-3-sulfonyl chloride compound of the formula is provided, wherein A is F, Cl, Br, I, a CO2 (1-4C alkyl) or the like; B is H, F, Br, I, NO2, CN, a CO2 (1-4C alkyl), an NH (1-3C alkyl), an N (1-3C alkyl)2 or the like, and D is H, F, Cl, Br, I, a 1-3C alkyl, OCH3, OC2H5, CH2F, CHF2, CF3 or the like.
