Abstract:

To provide a pyrolysis apparatus of wastes which performs thermal decomposition of wastes in a suitable atmosphere, and is miniaturized.

The pyrolysis apparatus comprises a horizontal drum 1 formed of a conductive material and rotatable around the axis thereof, and an electromagnetic induction heating coil 2 disposed around the drum 1. The drum 1 is rotatable around the axis, and rotated by a drive motor 7. The drum 1 is induction-heated by the electromagnetic induction-heating coil 2 to heat the wastes in the drum 1. The wastes in the drum 1 are stirred by the rotation of the drum 1.
