To provide a recording medium reproducing apparatus which can efficiently remove a printing material from the printing surface of the recording medium and increase the number of repeating use of the recording medium.
This apparatus 1 is composed of a treatment tank 3 filled with a cleaning solution 2, an approximately cylindrical conveyance drum 4 rotated in a prescribed direction by a motor (not shown in Fig.) sinking partially in the tank 3, and a plurality of nozzles 7 which are fixed to nozzle fixing members 5 arranged to face the lower side of the drum 4 to keep a prescribed distance from the drum 4 and arranged zigzag or linearly over almost the entire width of the recording medium 6 in the axial direction of the drum 4. Each nozzle 7 is arranged along the radius of the drum 4, and the cleaning solution 2 sucked up from a liquid sucking hose 9 through a high pressure pump 8 is ejected at a pressure of 5-70 MPa from each nozzle 7 on the peripheral surface of the drum 4 by way of a liquid sending hose 10.
