Abstract:
PURPOSE: To contribute palatableness of water by setting an index for objectively and synthetically evaluating the palatableness of water and objectively performing the quality evaluation of water on the basis of the evaluation index.
CONSTITUTION: Concns. of six items of Ca2-, Mg2-, Na+, K, Cl- and SO42- (mg/l) being dissolved components in drinking water are measured to set mineral related component indices and quality evaluation indices of water composed of six items of am NMR characteristic value, DOC, TS, free carbonic acid, conductivity and E260 are selected. Water to be examined is compared with reference water on the basis of those indice to perform quality evaluation of water.
