Abstract:
To provide a method for accurately quantizing the content of a comonomer in a ternary copolymer.SOLUTION: A quantitative analysis method for the content of a comonomer in an olefin copolymer using a nuclear magnetic resonance (NMR) method includes the steps of: reacting an olefin copolymer obtained by polymerizing olefin, an acrylate or a methacrylate, and maleic anhydride or a derivative thereof with an amine compound to convert a maleic anhydride part or a derivative part thereof in the olefin copolymer into amide or imide; and measuring the 1H-NMR of an obtained amide or imide form of the olefin copolymer.SELECTED DRAWING: None
