Abstract:

To obtain an analysis method which allows a less expensive analysis cost in a shorter time and with more highly accuracy than a qualitative or quantitative analysis method used in analyzing antigen/antibody which is employed in conventional medical, biotechnological fields or the like.

A receptor molecule 2 selectively coupling with another atom or molecule is established on a flat base 1 of solid or fluid, a base surface is measured by polarization analysis, and a change in a polarized state caused on linear polarized waves by reflection on the base 1 is measured. Thereafter, the base with the receptor molecule 2 established is brought into contact with an atom or molecule to be analyzed for coupling it to the atom or molecule, and then measurement of polarization analysis is again performed. After the change in the polarized state is compared with a value evaluated using reference sample, qualitative analysis and quantitative analysis of the coupled atom or molecule may be performed.
