PURPOSE: To obtain a quartz oscillator having a simple constitution and excellent temperature characteristics, by installing a quartz oscillator, a heat source device and a heat transmission material attached with a temperature detecting means on a printed circuit borad along with an electric power control circuit and an oscillating circuit.
CONSTITUTION: The quartz oscillator stored into a tightly closed container, a heat source such as an electric power type transistor 2 or the like and a temperature detecting means like a thermistor 3 or the like are attached on a heat transmission material 4 composed of a metal having a small heat resistance such as the copper or the like. These component parts are then put onto a printed circuit board 7 along with the electric power control circuit device 5 and the oscillating circuit device 6. Thus the temperature of the device 5 is set slightly higher than the highest value of the ambient temperature, and as a result the temperature of the oscillator 1 can be kept at a constant level without using any thermostatic chamber. Thus a quartz oscillator can be obtained with a simple constitution and an excellent frequency temperature characteristics.
