Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method in which temperature is not required to be raised to as high as 70°C or more in obtaining high-purity metal Au from organic phase containing Au and impurity, high-purity Au can be obtained even if temperature exceeds 50°C, and reduction force does not drop even if pH of a water phase is reduced.SOLUTION: Au is reduced from dibutyl carbitol, from which Au is extracted, by using aqueous solution of sulfurous acid salt. Reaction temperature is 5°C to 60°C, and pH of a water phase is 10 or less.
