Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To acquire good communication characteristics corresponding to a communication frequency by forming a planar antenna compatible with a communication frequency of an RF tag for avoidance of an adverse influence of metal and to improve flexibility of the design of an auxiliary antenna without any constraint on a design range of the auxiliary antenna while effectively exhibiting functions of an antenna and a loop circuit which the RF tag itself has.SOLUTION: The RF tag includes: an inlay 10 having an IC chip 11 and an antenna 12; an auxiliary antenna 20 layered under an isolation state from the inlay 10; and a base material 50 having the layered inlay 10 and the auxiliary antenna 20 on. The antenna 12 of the inlay 10 is formed with a loop part 11a in the vicinity to the IC chip 11 and the auxiliary antenna 20 is arranged so that a central position of a side along a resonance axis of the auxiliary antenna 20 opposing to the loop part 11a is positioned in the vicinity to the IC chip 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
