Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar system that can send various different types of pulse signals with different pulse widths and can accurately detect, in particular, an object in a large distance.SOLUTION: The radar system alternately performs first detection processing and second detection processing. The first detection processing conducts a detection around the radar system by sending/receiving a short-distance pulse signal P1 and a long-distance pulse signal P3 with a pulse width larger than that of the short-distance pulse signal P1, and the second detection processing conducts a detection around the radar system by sending/receiving an intermediate-distance pulse signal P2 with a pulse width larger than that of the short-distance pulse signal P1 and shorter than that of the large-distance pulse width P3 and by sending/receiving the large-distance pulse width P3.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
