Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radiation detecting system by which a radiation leakage can be monitored surely and immediately.
SOLUTION: In a system, an optical fiber cable 20 which is formed in such a way that a part irradiated with a radiation emits light and which transmits the emitted light is provided. In addition, a photoelectric conversion means 32 to which at least one end of the optical fiber cable 20 is connected is provided. In addition, a processing means 38 by which a fact that the radiation is irradiated is detected on the basis of an output signal from the photoelectric conversion means 32 is provided.
