PURPOSE: To obtain an output reproduced picture subjected to an optimum picture processing with an easy operation, by providing an input means related to the photographing method and the photographing position, a processing condition leading-out means for obtaining optimum conditions, and a processing means for the picture processing.
CONSTITUTION: Input information from a terminal equipement 18 or a console 20 is stored in a file 16. When a recording medium 24 is set to a reader 10, identification information of the recording medium entered on a label 26 is read optically or magnetically to retrieve stored information of the file 16. The picture signal indicating the radiation picture of a body to be examined which is read by the readier 10 is transferred to a recorder 14 by a processing device 12 and is recorded and reproduced as a reproduced picture of the body to be examined on an output recording medium 100. In the processing device 12, the picture processing for controlling the curve of recording signal level to optical density is performed. In the picture processing of the processing device 12, ten kinds of gradation processing, ten kinds of shape of space frequency curve in the space frequency emphasis processing, and ten kinds of its emphasis degree can be selected, and 1,000 kinds of processing are possible logically.
