Title:
RADIATION SENSITIVE EMULSION
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3383436
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a radiation sensitive emulsion reducing pressure sensitivity, increasing developability and reducing essential sensitivity to the blue region of a spectrum.
CONSTITUTION: This radiation sensitive emulsion contains a dispersive medium and silver halide particles and >50% of the total projection area of all the particles is occupied by flat platy silver halide particles having an average aspect ratio of >5, at least 0.7μm average diameter of an equiv. circle and <0.07μm average thickness. The flat platy silver halide particles contain 0.4-20mol% chloride and 0-10mol% iodide based on the amt. of silver and the remaining silver halide is bromide.
